The race was contested in two heats, with an early bird special at 8:45 consisting of Joanne Harriman, Pat Yingling, yours truly, and Dotty Fine at 37:52. So Dot completed the Danehy double by racing in both races, and walked almost 3 minutes faster in the second one.
